This year's midsummer madness ride was organised by Ian and Dave Croston.
The ride was over 3 days, with our base being Foyers Bay Guest House on the shores of Loch Ness.
The main group set off from the Globe at 9am on Friday. Flooksie & R1 John set off later about midday and just managed to get to the guest house for the evining meal.
We had mixed weather for the ride. The only incident was when Bono fell over in a car park next to Loch Lomond, good entertainment for a coach load of tourists!
On the second day 5 bikes made the trip to John O'Groats, returning in the evening to the guest house.
The ride home on the Sunday was steady but fast.
Foxy should have been with us but he & Vicky had a mishap whilst in Switzerland. The bike and Vicky seemed to have come off worse.
Hope things mend quickly Vicky - all the best from everyone at the club.
